sad

current mood: sad

A heavy heart today only a parent can understand. To watch your child make very bad decisions and suffer the worst consequences and nothing you can do to fix it for them. Now my daughters out with no where to go. I know she's resourceful but still fear of what could happen to her. On my knees with many prayers for her in the past 2 days. Seems it's all I can do right now.

(((hugs)) sweetie...I don't know what might be happening but as a parent I know how much this has to hurt you.

When I went through the drug problem with Niño we had a few days of such hell...but the worst part was the deep sadness I felt inside.

I hope that your daughter realizes the downward spiral bad decisions can make and hopefully she can climb out it.

Thank you. It's the old adage. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make em drink. Being 20 and without any insurance doesn't help in the mental health field either.Red tape galore. *sigh*

I've lit some candles of healing for you and send my thoughts your way. I have a 20 year old and have a feeling that I have traveled the road you are on. Buckle up tightly, you are so right, there is nothing you can do they have to learn for themselves. And she will. And she will come out of it a better person -in her time, after many mistakes and many sleepless nights on your part- and love you all the more for letting her do it.

HUGE HUGS of support!
